Private groups can book a guide of their own for 55 minutes at the price of 800 SEK for 1-8 persons. If your group is more than 8 persons an extra 100 SEK per person is charged. If you want a guide for a bus tour or a group with more than 20 people please call +46 70 8159962.
The guide can give the following tours, you decide which:
- a journey in time back to the 18th century. We move round the old parts of Kristinehamn and learn the history of the Iron City, an important economical location from 1730-1850. The guide is dressed in historical clothes. Meeting point outside the Tourist Office on Södra torget 3 in Kristinehamn.
- the fascinating story of the Picasso sculpture and how it ended up in Kristinehamn. We also study the sculpture close up and view it from all angles. A little about Lake Vänern, the largest lake in the European Union, ends the tour. Meeting point: By the Picasso sculpture.
PLEASE OBSERVE! The sculpture is being cleaned during autumn 2024 and is covered in scaffolding.
